LOKIT®

Lokit is a true buffering agent and not an acidifier.

Packshot | Surfactant

Lokit is a true buffering agent and not an acidifier.
Application of Lokit to water for use as a spray solution will reduce water pH to acidity more suitable to most agrichemicals.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:

Buffering generally results in a pH of between 4 and 5.

INDICATOR:
  • When pH is greater than 5 Lokit will produce a faint orange colour.
  • When pH below 5 Lokit will produce a bright pink/red colour.
GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:
  • Surfactant content – this product is primarily a buffering agent. The use rate of Lokit will vary depending on pH of water source. If the agrichemical being applied requires the use of a surfactant for optimum results Lokit should not be considered a replacement, depending on rate of Lokit used a lower rate of surfactant may be suitable. Seek advice from your agrichemical supplier.
  • Not recommended with foliar nutrition products. Nor for aerial applications.
  • Read agrichemical label carefully before use, restrictions on use of surfactants and/or acidifiers on agrichemical label have precedence over directions for use on this label.
  • If in any doubt on appropriateness of Lokit in combination
with agrichemical, please test on a small area first before using on a full scale application.
MIXING:
  • Add Lokit to spray tanks first.
  • Fill spray tank to 2/3 fill with water.
  • Add Lokit and mix/ agitate well.
  • Take sample from tank and confirm colour is pink/red. If still orange add another 50-100ml per 100L of Lokit, agitate and then recheck. If colour changes still does not occur, test pH.
  • Add agrichemicals in appropriate order.

RECOMMEND FOR USE WITH:

Insecticides, fungicides, herbicides and plant growth regulators. Including BAPSoL 100, Captan, GIB-47, Glyphosate, Growth and NAA and other products that perform at their optimum at an acidic pH of 4.0-5.0.
