DIMMER®
DIMMER® is a natural sunburn protector that forms a barrier to minimise the impact of sunburn and heat stress damage.
When applied, Dimmer forms an invisible film, filtering ultraviolet and infrared radiation and protecting against sunburn and heat stress. Thorough, uniform and consistent coverage is essential throughout the stress period to ensure optimum protection. Dimmer may be applied up to the day of harvest. It has a physical mode of action, so no residue limit or preharvest interval is to be considered.
Directions For Use
Apply Dimmer® at a dose rate of 1.5 kg/ha, using at least 500 L of water per hectare. The initial application should be made at the beginning of summer to prime the crop for abiotic stress relief. Following applications are required a few days prior to predicted solar stress events. In case of a prolonged heat period, reapplication should be made at 14-day intervals or after more than 20 mm of rain.
Application Conditions
Applications to wet foliage can cause inadequate film formation and excessive run off. Under very hot and dry conditions, increase volume of water and droplet size to improve deposition.
Rainfastness: Rainfall will affect film quality. Reapply to reestablish coverage after more than 20 mm of rain as soon as the foliage is dry.
Compatibility
Dimmer is compatible with most commonly used approved products. As testing of all possible combinations of tank mixtures is not possible, test a small quantity of the intended mixture in a jar or bucket at the dilution rates recommended, if in doubt
Mixing Instructions
Fill spray tank to 50% of capacity. Turn on the agitator and add the required amount of Dimmer, followed by the remainder of the water. Continue agitation until all of the mixture is sprayed from the tank. At the end of the application, spray until empty and flush the system and nozzles with fresh water. Properly dispose of the rinse water.
Spray Methods
Air blast sprayers provide the best coverage. Do not apply in windy or gusty conditions. Calibrate spray equipment to deliver the required volume.

Post-harvest Removal
Dimmer® does not leave any detectable residue on harvested crops and does not require any steps for removal.
Storage
Keep the product in its original container in a dry place, away from moisture.
